Hi, sweet thing! How have you been?
It’s February, my gentle darling, IN THE AIR! calmsup. I want you to leave all those blues, downs & ):s for a while, let’s contradict the weather outside & save a couple of minutes for our wellbeing.
Few months ago, I was thinking of the possibility of a department that only studies the famous writers & poets according to their zodiac signs & categorises them into little groups & also helps desperate literature students like us comprehend the whole frame better. But this department would be completely free from the science (yes, SCIENCE) Astrology, & follow a serious academic path. Did I dream of something really big and.. nonsensical? Right this second & without further thinking, I would say Y E S & try not the convince myself for the opposite but.. (Here we goo..) I’m really tired of the fabricated assumptions & useless decoding methods brought forward by some of the critics. None of them ever stated “here, the author precisely means what s/he intentionally meant” Always a hidden message after something & I guess that’s where most of us start going prosaic even before the graduation. Anyway, back to the point; If some critics are really passionate about writing countless pages over a word that the author used, I’m asking why there isn’t a field of study that evaluates them from a different point of view?
And Sir, I have some sensible reasons to make myself known before your eyes & demand a second consideration for the existence of such a department in our borders. ~Trial passes~ & ~Kingdom prospers~ Wooo!
And the second part; What is your sign, cutie? Have you ever given a thought about how many great people (in the history/now) shares the same sign with you? Or are you a non-believer of Astrology? Still good. Regardless of what you believe (out of these astrological aspects) what I believe is that the harmony in nature somehow affects us, (like seasonal mood swings) & knows how to perform its powers at the most unexpected time. Since being a random humanum genus, I just cannot ignore the effects of these powerful elements at the time I was born.
I’ve been lately searching the famous people who are also Aquarian (It all started with Dickens. and then jumped to Donne.. Marlowe.. Joyce.. oh well) In the beginning I couldn’t believe how the basic traits of Aquarius were reflected in their works. The main focus on the social problems, mocking & satirical tone & always being a rebel (here towards religion as for the last two) in their era. With such distinguished personalities they were definitely ahead of their time.
Thinking of Jules Verne, Galileo, Etta James & many more is enough for me to find the inspiration for the times when I need most. So why don’t you try it for yourself? Just start checking some of the great people that you admire (I’m pretty sure many of them share the same sign; all about attractions! :) and leave the rest to your imagination!
All I suggest is a simple way; how to enliven our imagination & to keep ourselves motivated in the hustle & bustle of everyday living. & if you’re willing to give it a chance, start with reading some of the quotes (have plenty of time? then read the (auto)biographies; that’s what I usually do)Thanks to the magnitude of their works many of these artists made their names known until 21st century, so who says you cannot?
& don’t forget to D R E A M B I G!
.. some harmonious melodies for the weather..
↓ & Blessings.
